26. Beginners' Acrylic Painting: 10/11 Apr 2010

This 2 day course takes place at Storridge Village Hall and starts at 10:00am and finishes at 4:00pm

'Come and learn how to really use that box of paints. How to use the paint, mix it and apply it. Lots of demonstrations and oodles of the 'oomph' factor.'

All drawing materials are provided together with an easel and board. A light lunch is also provided. Painting materials are NOT provided, so please bring your own. This course uses acrylic paint.

Suggested materials: A range of acrylic/oil brushes of various sizes and types e.g. Filbert No 5, Flat No 4, No 8, Round No 1 or No 2 and No 4. Colours: permanent rose, lemon yellow, ultramarine, titanium white, burnt umber, yellow ochre, cadmium yellow, possibly vermilion hue, permanent green and winsor blue. One acrylic painting pad minimum size A3, preferably 16 x 20 inches.
