PayPal is the most well known payment processor in the e-commerce world and very popular among the EBay community. It
enables any business or consumer with an email address to securely, conveniently and cost-effectively send and receive payments
online. PayPal operates in 190 markets and hold funds in 19 currencies worldwide. PayPal
Website Payments Standard is the basic payment service and cost merchants 1.4% to 3.4% + £0.20 per transaction. There
is no set up or monthly fee to pay. PayPal Express Checkout is an extended service to allow PayPal account holder to pay for
their online purchases in a 3-click process. PayPal website Payments Pro allows payment
to be completed on the merchant website without redirection to PayPal. The service costs £20 monthly fee and 1.4% to
3.4% + £0.20 per transaction.
Google Checkout is an online payment processing service provided by Google since 2006. The payment gateway aims to
simplify the process of paying for online purchases. Users store their Credit or Debit card and shipping information in their
Google Account, so that they can purchase at participating stores at the click of a button. Google charged merchants as low
as 2.0% + $0.20 per transaction (or 1.4% + £0.20 for UK merchants). Click

Sage Pay, previously known as Protx, has become one of the UK's largest Independent payment gateways after The Sage
Group acquired Protx in 2006. Sage Pay specialises in providing secure, online payment services for small and medium businesses
in the UK. There are no set up fees and the online payment service, Sage Pay Go, costs from just £20 per month.

low as £10 per month for 300 transactions it is easy to see why they are fast becoming one of the most popular alternative

transactions. WorldPay is the largest merchant acquirer in Europe and one of the largest globally, operating in more than 40 countries.
WorldPay offers a number of online payment solutions, such as Business Gateway, if you already have a merchant account, and Business

Moneybookers was launched in 2002 and as of January 2010 they claims to have over 10.8 million account holders
worldwide. Moneybookers allows customers to send, receive and hold funds in over 30 currencies worldwide and offers local payments
in more than 40 countries. Merchant pays as low as 0.9% + £0.19 (or 0.9% + 0.29 €) per transaction. There is

Nochex is a UK based payment
service provider offering seller and merchant accounts to merchants. A seller account can be used to process payments up to
£100 per transaction that originate from a UK registered Credit or Debit card. Seller account charged merchant 2.9% + 20p
per transaction, however, there is no cost to set up a seller account and no monthly fees. A merchant account can be used to
accept larger payments, and accept payments from registered international Credit cards. There are no monthly fees associated
with merchant accounts.
